El Dulce Tele Pickup Set

Built with Alnico II magnets Revel El Dulce Tele pickups are a sweet and singing Tele pickup set. The sound is absolutely vintage with a softer attack and top end compared to an Alnico V Tele pickup. The El Dulce twangs but the high end is rounded off and soft with a distinct sparkle as opposed to a bite. The bottom end is round and warm. Pick attack is mellow and the overall feel is bouncy.

The neck is sweeter still with a warm, open and hollow tone that is distinct to the El Dulce and Alnico II. Like all Revel Tele pickups the Dulce’s are handwound and this set is RW/RP for humcancelling in the middle position.

A NOTE ABOUT SOUND CLIPS:

Corporate marketing hype has made it mostly necessary to include sound clips and resistance specifications. Both have very limited meaning and are, in many ways, lies. The best player can make the lousiest guitar loaded with the cheapest pickups played through the lamest amp sound downright amazing. For that reason I feel that clips are misleading. Clips let you hear almost everything except the pickup and primarily the amp in a controlled environment that’s not readily reproducible. Please take these thoughts into consideration.
