The Post-Modern P.A.F. is for the player in need of more output than the O.G. Built with the same commitment to the best of the 50’s P.A.F., the Post-Modern more easily drives an amp and delivers a thick, warm and complex tone.

Order these as stock wound or under-wound. The under-wound Post-Modern differs from the O.G. in the use of Alnico IV as opposed to Alnico II. While Alnico II has a decisively vintage feel and tone, Alnico IV has a more balanced EQ response, is more compressed, a little brighter, and thicker.

A NOTE ABOUT SOUND CLIPS:

Corporate marketing hype has made it mostly necessary to include sound clips and resistance specifications. Both have very limited meaning and are, in many ways, lies. The best player can make the lousiest guitar loaded with the cheapest pickups played through the lamest amp sound downright amazing. For that reason I feel that clips are misleading. Clips let you hear almost everything except the pickup and primarily the amp in a controlled environment that’s not readily reproducible. Please take these thoughts into consideration.
