“The Keef” is a pickup I was so often asked about and then asked to build that I added it to the lineup. This is the pickup to capture that tone and to complete your Micawber and/or Malcolm builds.
The “TK” is, like the Black Watch pickup, Broadcaster spec’d but wound a little extra hot. It retains the characteristics of the Black Watch but with a slightly darker tone and heavier bottom end (because of the added turns) that pushes an amp easier. Built with large diameter Alnico 3 magnets and hand-wound with 43AWG plain enamel wire.
